- Scope
- Full bathroom rebuild after a supply-line failure
A supply line failed overnight in an upstairs bathroom of a Roseville home, sending water into the flooring, walls and vanity area before it was found. The property owner brought us in to handle the reconstruction once the wet materials had been identified. We assessed the plank flooring, drywall and vanity to determine what needed removal and what the wall framing required.
We removed the plank flooring, cut the drywall back to 4 feet around the room, and took out the vanity to reach the wet wall. Once the wall was dried and reframed, we installed new drywall, applied texture and paint, then finished the room with new flooring and a new vanity.
The challenge
An overnight supply line failure left an upstairs bathroom with wet flooring, damaged drywall and a vanity that could not be reused.
What BEK did
We demolished the affected flooring, drywall and vanity, dried and reframed the wet wall, then completed drywall, texture, painting, flooring and vanity installation.
Result
The bathroom was rebuilt with new drywall, paint, flooring and a vanity, returning the room to finished, usable condition.
